A number of people are looking at the possibilities of what liquid diet weight loss might hold for them. Switching to a liquid diet certainly isn’t going to be magical. People lose weight when they ingest fewer calories than they burn through exercise and through their normal metabolic activities.
Liquid diets that provide the same number of calories as normal diets are not going to effectively promote weight loss. However, liquid diets that are relatively low in calories can certainly help people lose weight.
